Counting Days : 14.

Tik tok tik tok.
14 hari je lagi, tapi belum rasa apa-apa lagi. Mungkin hati numb sangat, tapi  bila orang dah asyik remind, makin cuak jadinya. Lagi-lagi dengan kad yang dah dihantar. Bila korang tengok kad, rajin kan aku dok tampal-tampal semua nama ngan alamat. Tapi... idea ni sebenarnya tak bernas ye. Saya ulang, tak bernas. Penat kot wei. Buruk mana pun tulisan, next time korang kawen, tulis sudah ler...

Memandangkan banyak my parents dah settlekan pasal hal kenduri, my part jadi kecik-kecik punya je. Bab-bab hantaran, dulang-dulang, kad kahwin, photographer, videographer, baju-baju, pelamin etc. Tapi even tak terlibat sangat hal kenduri, bab-bab makan, khemah, teknikal semua tu, still ambek tau jugak. Tanak laa tiba2 kita pakai putih, khemah merah, pelamin hijau. Jadi sarkas pulak kang.  (terbayang jap... geleng-geleng kepala)...

Tapi kan, bila tengok attitude kebanyakan usahawan ni memang banyak kena improve, dari segi masa (kekadang janji pukul 1, datang pukul 5) and documentation, macam nak mintak quotation pun seminggu tak dapat-dapat lagi, tapi tiap2 hari sms kata nak email (blurgh).

Kalau barang ko cantik, tapi timing ko fail, aku lebih prefer barang yang kurang sikit dari ko, tapi timing dia bagus. Tu lebih reliable, and boleh dipercayai. Kan?

Hari ni sms satu videographer, senang je, satu malam dah settle, dapat quotation and confirmation. Senang keje kan.
Sap sap soi.

Okeh, mari sambung countdown. Dub Dab.

Eh jap. Ada tak aku cite aku dah nak kawen?
Aku dah nak kawen weiiii... :-)

HIV Test.

Don't freak out.
I'm not with HIV. It's just one of the procedure to be married here in Malaysia.
My cousin from Philippines were here a couple of weeks before, and it's new to her when she found out the procedure when I told her all the things need to be done before I got married. There is no such process in Philippines I guess.

The HIV Test form came with the Marriage Application Form from the Religious Department, where you can get it online now. If you were found positive, then I believe you'll somehow not allowed to get married as it will be dangerous to your future spouse.

You can get your test done at any local clinics, it took less than 20minutes, to fill up the form, waiting for the queue, and get the blood sample. And there you go. It's done.

By the way, just so you know... I'm negative.
So Tok Kadi, here I come!

Online Marriage Form.

I know people are very cynical on the public service, how everything is moving slowly.
I know and I could not deny it. But I think most cases were similar and most of the services provided by the Government has been improved, some are even better than what the private can offer.

One of the improvement is turning all the public related services to online.
It saves cost and time.

One good example is the marriage form in the state of Perak.
Instead of going to the Islam Department, queuing up for the form, waiting at the counter to be served, we can just fill up the form online, complete with all the proper steps and directions.

Not more than 5 minutes, there you go, a complete form on your computer to be printed out yourself. See, the public service is not that bad after all.
Give them chance, ideas and suggestions. They will improve.

The next step would be the HIV test and I wonder if the service is as good as this one.
