This is me now.

Being a child is all about fun and adventure.

However at one point in life, the child in you will eventually gone.

There's a lot to think. There's a lot to be done.
Every decisions made should based on every possible consequences.

Yes, everyone said there is always a time to be child once more. With the responsibilities you have as the man of the family or the head of organization, that is truly impossible.
"Bayangkan PM main lari-lari aci duduk kat Putrajaya... tak ke ganjil..."

Now I'm just this boring person...

If you were a boy.

Lately I listened to some songs on what are 'so called' girl power thing, like 'If I were a boy' by Beyonce or 'Hey Ladies' by Rossa. Both songs tell us how a jerk a man could be, yes, maybe not everyone, but do we really need that? Even women can be the same you know.

I don't know, but... I don't think that is not so nice. I never heard a song the opposite of that. Usually the song for women were quite nice, on the beauty and how lovely they are, like 'Hey Jude', 'Sephia' or 'Beautiful Lady'.

I'm not pointing to any issues here, but why some women are being so unsecured? Maybe if 'you' were a boy, you could understand a man.

Brain Damaging Habits.

1) Everyone knows that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but it seems like we never even bother about it because brunch is so much popular these days. But, by not having breakfast, you're going to have a lower blood sugar level. So insufficient nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration. So, get you breakfast everyday! (My cereal that I bought last Ramadhan still in its original packing, dowh~)

2) Smokers have higher possibility to have brain shrinkage and alzheimer desease. So don't smoke!

3) Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins causing malnutrition and may interfere with brain development. (Especially Malaysian people, suka sangat makan kueh petang-petang, kopi, teh tarik la... less sugar ok~)

4) Air pollution decreases the brain efficiency since brain is the largest user of oxygen inside our body. (Especially those who lives in Klang, no wonder I couldn't think much...)

5) Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the death of brain cells. (Ingat belajar sampai lewat-lewat malam boleh jadi pandai arrrr... tapi kalau asyik-asyik tido pon macam problem jugak)

6) Head covered while sleeping may lead to decrease in effectiveness of the brain as well as damage the brain. (Now you need to sleep with your head all exposed, hanging...)

7) Working your brain while illness. (MC laa cik adik ooi... semua orang pun suke MC... apa daa~)

8) Lacking of stimulating thinking. You know, thinking is best way to train our brain. (Keep on thinking, till you lose your hair macam upin ipin. Eh, I've just remembered a friend told me when we're thinking, our brain will release heat... and that is why the world is getting hotter... Stop thinking or else the ice will melt! LoL!~)

9) Talking rarely as intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain. ( "intellectual" conversations do not include gossipping!)

So there you go! Live a healthy life does not means you only have to exercise or get good meals.

Jatuh.

Aku berdiri di atas bumi yang nyata.

Sehingga satu hari, kau datang. Kau ajak aku naik Menara KL.

Kau pun senyum kat aku.

Arrrrhhh~! Aku mengangkat kedua-dua tangan tanda kemenangan... dan tiba-tiba tanpa kusedari, kau tolak aku jatuh...

"Buuushhhh.."

Hancur berkecai semuanya.

Aku kebingungan. Kenapa? Kenapa mesti aku?

Bodohkan aku.

How I wish.

I saw a note on my colleague's desk.

If only it was that easy...

Twenty-Four

I turned 24 last week. Just so you know, being 24 is not that fun.
I feel old. LoL.
So I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who wishes me on that day, or maybe a day earlier, or a day later, anytime... I don't mind, just thank you so much for remembering my day.
Thanks for staying up till 12 just to wish me :)
And thanks to my 'baja hitam' Raimi Radzmir Irfan Mafak and Fairuz for the dinner.
p/s. Tak celebrate lagi dengan pakciks... Takda kfc tahun ni...

Salam Aidilfitri!

Even dia cakap OK, suara dia macam sebak je. Sedih...

And at the end of the commercial masa mak dia tanya "Apa Man dah buat?".

Entah, kita selalu take things for granted...

***

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri!

Masjid Besi

I went to Masjid Tuanku Zainal Abidin the other day for Terawikh with Raimi. My first time there, driving from PICC (Putrajaya Internation Conference Centre), I could already see the mega structure. It was so called "Masjid Besi".

"Gempak gile..." <- my first comment.

Large parking area, lift, escalator, huge huge praying areas with lake around it, this mosque is definately one of a kind in Malaysia. With a fly over to cross from the main road straight to the mosque, fuh, megamall pun tak macam ni.

Thanks Raimi for the idea, even kepenatan ya amat, but definately worth it.

To run away...

I believe along the way to a better road of life,
we made mistakes.

But when everything is so mixed up,
every mistakes seem complicated,
and here they are to stay.

Do you believe in running away?
I wish that I could, and start all over again,
without remembering.

I feel like a loser at this moment,
But because of you,
I decided to stay.
Please let me be selfish for this once.

A dedication to Merdeka Day

Just want to share an article, sempena hari Merdeka yang banyak orang terlupa...

DZULKIFLI ABDUL RAZAK: Know your history, know it well

NST 2009/08/30

MALAYSIA will celebrate its 52nd year of Merdeka tomorrow, and it is timely to reflect on what has happened since the nation gained independence in 1957. Amidst the joy and fanfare, there must be a serious revisit to the history of the events that led to this annual celebration. They say, history is a great teacher. But unless this is done in earnest, Merdeka tends to have a repetitive dampening effect in which the context is largely lost. It will be reduced to a one-time cyclical happening, devoid of any meaning.

And once the bright lights go off, the event will be totally forgotten. With it goes the commitment to take stock of what must be done to buttress Merdeka as a platform to create a genuinely sovereign nation. More recently, Datuk Dr Sharom Ahmat during his acceptance address as a recipient of a honorary doctorate in philosophy at the last Universiti Sains Malaysia Convocation, reminded us again of the importance of history."History preserves the concept of identity, society, balance and through this we remember who we are and where we come from," he said."It is crucial therefore, to never change history, memories and our heritage."Sharom recognised that history is to a society like memories are to an individual. It is, therefore, a vital guide on how we ought to live in the present and in the future.Without such memories, an individual becomes isolated and will have no idea of his roots and where he is in the present."As such, I hope that history will be given priority in tandem with other studies considered important in determining the rise and fall of a nation."In short, whether we realise it or not, history has a material bearing on a country's future; and pleading ignorance is not an option.

Those who are blind to history are surely to cause unwarranted obstacles to nation-building. For one, the formation of Malaysia (in the spirit of 1Malaysia) is an event that we cannot afford to ignore or be oblivious to.

Along with it are events like the separation of Singapore from the Federation, as all these have had a big impact on all of us. The book Jinnah-India, Partition, Independence released just a fortnight ago, is fast becoming a best-seller precisely because of its historical value and honesty. It reminded us again why knowing the "truth" through history is vital. The author, India's former external affairs minister, Jaswant Singh, recalls the events leading to the partition of the subcontinent. At one point he wrote: "The cruel truth is that this partitioning of India has actually resulted in achieving the very reverse of the originally intended purpose; partition, instead of settling contention between communities has left us a legacy of markedly enhanced Hindu, Muslim, Sikh or other such denominational identities, hence differences...

"The British were regarded as an ever willing midwife in tandem with the practice of divide-and-rule tactics.

Although many applauded the book as an impeccable scholarly work, the author, a senior leader of India's main opposition party, was unceremoniously expelled two days after the book was launched.

Others called for a boycott, especially when some of the revelations were deemed unpalatable to the interests of the current politics.

Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and his first home minister, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, for example, were alleged to be responsible for the country's partition in 1947, together with Muhamad Ali Jinnah, the founder-father of Pakistan.

To cast Jinnah as "being the ambassador of Hindu-Muslim unity, the liberal constitutionalist and Indian nationalist to the Quaid-e-Azam of Pakistan", is to many Indians just politically incorrect.
But such is the role of history in teasing out the "truth" for us to learn from, no matter what is politically correct. Sadly, however, many a time we prefer to wallow in ignorance and champion the narrow vested interest of partisan politics. All history gets is a back seat, if at all.
Consequently, our history is often haunted by its own ghosts created to feed uninformed minds, especially the impressionable ones who regard Merdeka as no more than a one-day event of hoisting and waving flags. After 52 years of almost the same, it is time to get rid of the ghosts and start anew.

We need to find answers to some of the whys and why-nots, in order that we understand and not repeat any of the follies of yesteryear.Merdeka must be the defining moment for all of us to seriously contemplate on how to do better.

And this needs more than just the usual song and dance. Salam Merdeka to all Malaysians.

I wish to forget

I wish to forget,
All the things,
All the small things,
That hurt me each and every day.

I wish to forget,
Why I hide behind a mask,
Shielding my face away,
Shielding myself away from all pain.

I wish to forget,
The things that made all my trust,
Fade away.

I wish I could forget,
All the fake emotions,
All the pretend smiles,
All the hollow laughs,
All the things I used to think,
Actually made me me.

I wish I could just forget,
But doesn't everyone wish that?
I wish I could forget,
All that causes me pain,
Just let me forget it all.

No complaint.

"Argh, tension!"

That is what I keep on complaining from day to day with all the burden I have to go with at work.
And all sorts of thinking like "Hey, this is not fair! Why the work load for everyone is obviously not the same, yet we are paid the same?", "Mati cepat laa aku macam ni keje macam orang gila tiap-tiap hari..." came up to my mind every single day.

And one of my colleuge said, "Jangan tension-tension" sambil tersenyum and I replied with my "muka seposen"... The next day, Friday finally arrived, and I found out that my colleuge is not home yet for the past 26 hours, and there she sat, no complain... still able to give me a smiling face...

What an embarassment. How could I compare my work with hers? And here I am complaining how difficult the weekdays which I have gone through.

So, starting today.... No complaint. Just remember that there are other people who are going through things even worse that we are...

Tapi, tolonglah berhenti politik'ing'. Barisan Nasional mahupun Pakatan Rakyat. Saya meluatlah nak dengar berita tiap-tiap hari pukul 8.00 malam dengar pasal politik je. Saya nak cerita lain...

Hypertension?

I am deeply, super exhausted.

Time is running out fast and I'm so stressed out to get everything in hand. I have headache since the last 4 days and my neck starts to join the club of pain lately too. People are suspecting me with hypertension. A bit ridiculous isn't it?

What is hypertension anyway? - it's actually a high blood pressure in the arteries. Emotional tension and stress can contribute to hypertension as well, but maybe for temporary je~ The end result of hypertension is the major organ breakdown or damaged such as heart, brain or kidney. So there's a lot to worry...

Symtoms of hypertension:

1. Dizziness
2. Headache
3. Short of breath
4. Blurred Vision
(macam kat keje rasa bende ni semua je... )

Lowering the blood pressure, use these advices:
1. Exercise... (kene usaha lebih sikit ni...)
2. Take some medicine
3. See your doctor regularly
4. Diet!!!
5. Lose 10 pounds... (this is even ridicilous don't you think?)
6. Watch out for salt

" Ok, now come on guys. Don't tension2... Kita enjoy~ "
(berkata-kata dengan tak ikhlasnye as I am currently super duper stressed)

Now I really wish that I am not an engineer. But no matter how hard you wish for something, where does it brings you to...?

the end.

Goodbye is a must to everything.

Every start comes with an end. It's a package.

So that is why you don't put too much hope in every relationship, because at some point the permanent 'dot' will appear, and you start to realize that your roles in their lives will somehow ended.
And that is where you'll stop believing...

A Cynical World That We're Living In

Watch this video...

This is Susan Boyle, 47. A contestant from Britain's Got Talent show last week.

At first, I am sure most of us laugh and tend to make fun of this 'funny old lady' like the rest of the audience.

It's ashame that many of us are being sinical, by only judging from the outside without realizing that they are actually more beautiful than we do...

A New Year!~

Owh, it was new year, 2009! Didn't feel like it.
Not to forget, the new year in Islam Calendar, 1430H. It started when Prophet Muhammad moved from Makkah to Madinah, and that was the starting of Hijrah year.
And starting this year, I know that I was born on the 1st of Muharram, the new year of Islam~! Nak hadiah. At least a friend did know about my birth date. Thanks.
Hopefully this year I will be more independent, and stop relying on others. Less dependencies. That's the best phrase. Stop hoping... and wishful too. I can survive alone...
A new resolution for a new year~
Happy New Year! Salam Maal Hijrah.

Pakciks, A Malacca Tour

Believe it or not, here we are again, the Pakciks up for a tour, a final one for Pakciks' state which is Malacca, bak kata Nizam "tanah tumpah air" En. Haidi kita. 4 of us couldn't make it, Para had to work, Nine balik kampung, Kecik gone to Langkawi while Peje has his last minute plan with family.

As we were going South this time, the plan was to meet in KL as Nazul and I were already here. We gather on Christmas day, sempat jugak jalan-jalan ke KLCC and OU, dan seperti biasa, tak lengkap perjalanan kitorang kalau tayar tak pecah. Kesian AGN9012, baru-baru tayar dah pecah.

We pushed off on Saturday morning, seawal 5 pagi (macam boleh) from my rental house kat Klang. Dua kereta seperti biasa, tapi kali ni kurang sikit passengers dia.

AGN9012 - Jep, Nazul, Amin
AEM3138 - Amir, Ewan, Nizam

Memandangkan dalam time cuti ni, jalan agak jem laa jugak masa nak masuk ke Melaka, entah apa laa ada kat Melaka sampai semua orang pun nak ke sini. At least we got our own reason kan, nak jumpa Haidi. Haha~ We arrived by noon, greeted by Haidi at the near gas station kat Exit Ayer Keroh and we went straight to Haidi's home.

Macam agak unik. Melaka ni memang unik-unik sikit. After Zohor prayer, we pushed off kat hotel penginapan kitorang (dah lupa nama hotel tu, tapi betul-betul kat area tourist). Lepas parking, check in, kitorang terus jalan. This time, kitorang tak guna kereta pun, kitorang gune kaki. Haha. Semua dekat-dekat je rupanya, senang hati berjalan. Pusing kepala ke kiri nampak bende ni, pusing kanan, nampak bende lain pulak, pusing belakang, bende tu. Tapi bile pusing atas, still nampak langit, takde beza... hehe...

The tour kicked off kat Istana Kesultanan Melayu Melaka. Mula-mula ingat macam Istana betul, tapi macam mustahil la kan, takkan tahun 1400 sampai sekarang Istana tu ada lagi, lawa pulak tu. Rupanya cuma replika, tapi agak smart lah. Dalam dia ada laa sikit patung-patung macam kat supermarket tu, tapi kali ni semua pakai baju melayu kuno dengan ada sikit cerita-cerita Hang Jebat ngan Hang Tuah, and some of the Istana stuff.

"Kenapa diam, baluunnn... baluuuun" Arh, sengal~ =))

Then depan istana ada park yang lawa, sempat jugak ambek gambar. Kat sini baru perasan camera saya kalau letak timer akan ambik 5 shots. So ape lagi, sempat ler buat gile untuk kelima-lima shots. Bengong. Tapi kelaka~ Haha. Kalau replay gambar, macam bergerak je.

Then kitorang p A Famosa, klasik~ mestilah ada gambar kat A Famosa kan?
Lawa lah jugak.

Then kitorang ke Bangunan Belanda yang merah-merah sangat tu, sekarang jadi Church of Malacca tu kan. Pun tak ada laa apa sangat, tapi macam saya cakap, ni lah icon-icon Melaka yang klasik, and tak lengkap jugak lah kalau tak pegi bila dah sampai Melaka ni. Oh, lupe. Kat Melaka ni banyak gile beca yang colourful habis siap ada hi fi stereo kat belakang. Kadang-kadang agak kecoh jugak, tapi teringin gak nak naik. Lawa...

Owh owh! Tibe-tibe jadi excited lah, nak naik nak naik~! Haha, bas ni akan pusing-pusing bandaraya Melaka selama setengah jam. Murah je, cuma RM5. Tak rugi... Dalam setengah jam tu kitorang naik bas tu dok kat atas sambil ditiup angin, pergh. Best, pusing-pusing Melaka setengah jam. Bila kite tengok balik, Melaka ni penuh dengan bangunan-bangunan lama, old school habis and ada yang dijaga. Even rumah kedai pun style old school, yang baru-baru cuma supermarket je. So, memang betul laa Melaka ni kan dah jadi bandar warisan UNESCO, saja lah untuk pengetahuan sapa-sapa yang tatau tu. Cewah.

Oh? Have to tell you this, beli kat kawasan ni jauh lagi murah daripada korang beli kat tempat-tempat macam AFamosa or Bangunan Melaka tu, maybe because tempat ni terpencil sikit takda sapa tau compare to those well known places kan. (Kesian plak bagitau dalam blog ni, nnt mcm mana laa abg-abg kat AFamosa tu nak carik makan, hehe...) Each of the pakciks beli keris, haha, saja laa simbol kitorang dah pernah sampai Melaka ni. Murah je, RM15 and ada Key Chains, 6pcs just RM10~

Sempat lalu depan muzium yang bentuk dia cam kapal Portugis, tapi tak sempat masuklah pasal dah nak Maghrib, so kitorang baliklah ke Hotel, rehat-rehat jap ngan mandi.
Malam nye kami ke rumah Haidi, barbeque bersama family. Cewah, konon laa sangat padahal sampai cuma nak makan je. Cis korang~ Susah ke kuarge Haidi... Hehe.
Lepas tu kononnye nak p karoke, tapi thankfully jugak semua tutup pasal saya dah ngantok lah sangat. Lagipon kaki saya kejang lah sangat~ So kitorang pun balik ke Hotel dan tido.

The next morning, Ierwan balik pagi-pagi dalam kul 9 macam tu pasal dia ada kenduri kat Penang, so tinggal laa 6 orang balik. Sementara Haidi hantar Ewan ke stesen bus, kamu sambung membuta sampai kol 12. (Penat weh...) Lepas kol 12, terus kitorang check out and que up kat Menara Taming Sari. Sebenarnye dari semalam nak naik, tapi tak cukup masa. Rugi ewan tak dpt naik... Lama jugak ler que up nye, dekat sejam lebih, naiknye cuma dalam 10 minit je. Tapi bila dah sampai atas, everything is worth it. Menara ni pusing-pusing kat atas, nampak ler satu Melaka dari atas. Best-best. Murah je pun, RM10 je.

Then kitorang ambik keter, parking kat area rumah Haidi. Best jugak. Lepak-lepak atas bot, semalam ikot jalan darat, skrang ikut sungai. Cuma RM5 je...~

Ni last place kitorang visit kat Melaka. Lepas solat kat rumah Haidi, terus kitorang push off ke KL. Haidi ikot sekali pasal dia pun nak balik rumah dia kat Cheras. Drop sorang-sorang, mula-mula Nazul kat Nilai, then tinggalkan keter saya kat Seri Kembangan and pushed off dengan satu keter ke Cheras, drop Haidi. Owh, kat sini Amir sempat buat begini.

"Terima kasih banyak-banyak tau!"
Dia cakap kat keluarga Haidi. Kelakar~ Macam kene paksa je menerima kasih dia. Haha.
Then drop Nizam kat Shah Alam and stopped for a night kat rumah sewaku di Klang before continuing the journey to drop me at Manjung. Gile penat... Tu belum cerita Amir drop Amin kat USM sebelum patah balik ke Taiping. Haha.
So, kesimpulan kat sini dapat dibuat, lawatlah Melaka. Best. Sebelum p luar-luar negeri tu, lawat laa dalam negeri dulu. During this recession time kite kene pusingkan duit kite dalam negara, not outside. Cewah, tibe-tibe citer ekonomi pulak. So, thanks untuk keluarga Haidi for this trip, terima kasih sangat-sangat tau~ (bak kata Amir). Thanks untuk Pakcik-pakcik yang join juge~!

Jumpe lagi~ di reunion seterusnya. Insyaallah, tanpa sebarang harapan. (^^,)v
