Be kind.

As written.

This is one of the last picture of me at Toshiba.
Being there taught me that there is nothing to lose by being nice to other people.

I miss TEM already...

Good drivers, Bad Habbits

Lately I've been using the road for quite some time, back and forth to Ipoh from Sri Manjung and I started to remember what does it take for me to get mad, heavy & SLOW, I mean real SLOWWWWW vehicles especially lorries using the right lane without any intentions to go left.

"Cmon, malas lah nak flash-flash kan. Kang cucuk-cucuk, kalau langgar keter aku jugak yang kemik... meleleh pulak air mata"

I hate slowliness.

Hopefully I will never apply it at my new work place...

Another farewell...

I can't tell you how difficult it is to describe how sad I am to be leaving.

When I got here so many years ago, I would never have realised how connected I would be to such a warm community of people. Many times I have been humbled by the kindness of your hearts...

You’ve helped me through some difficult times, and shared the joyous times in yours. Some people judge their lives on what they do, others on who they are. I want my life judged on the friends I keep, and how enriched I am from just knowing you.

To see you here in front of me, the last time all together, is a picture I will treasure for a very long time.

So... until the next time we gather, my very dear friends, farewell for now.

Rachel Corrie

We heard the name of 'Rachel Corrie', three weeks previously during the attack of terrorist (Israel) against the Gaza-bound humanitarian flotilla, 2 ships were involved, Mavi Marmara and Rachel Corrie.

Who is Rachel Corrie?

Rachel Aliene Corrie (April 10, 1979 – March 16, 2003) was an American member of the International Solidarity Movement (ISM). She was crushed to death in the Gaza Strip by an Israel Defence Forces (IDF) bulldozer when she was kneeling in front of a local Palestinian's home, thus acting as a human shield, attempting to prevent IDF forces from demolishing the home. The IDF has claimed that the death was due to the restricted angle of view of the IDF Caterpillar D9 bulldozer driver, while ISM eyewitnesses said "there was nothing to obscure the driver's view." A student at the Evergreen State College, she had taken a year off and traveled to the Gaza Strip during the Second Intifada.

An individual giving the name Richard, who stated that he witnessed Corrie's death, as recorded by the Israeli newspaper Haaretz:

There's no way he didn't see her, since she was practically looking into the cabin. At one stage, he turned around toward the building. The bulldozer kept moving, and she slipped and fell off the plow. But the bulldozer kept moving, the shovel above her. I guess it was about 10 or 15 meters that it dragged her and for some reason didn't stop. We shouted like crazy to the driver through loudspeakers that he should stop, but he just kept going and didn't lift the shovel. Then it stopped and backed up. We ran to Rachel. She was still breathing.

Ok, back to what had happened last month,

It's funny, last month we were so mad & furious on what happened to Mavi Marmara and Rachel Corrie's trip to Gaza. But a few days after, without any actions taken against the terrorist, we forget.

We're now cheering for our favourite team for World Cup! Even makcik kat kilang too was talking about Brazil!

Go Germany, go Spain... Wait, Rachel Corrie? Rachel who?

Thankful?

This is hillarious, but I'm not against the government on the "so called" low income. I think if those people go and visit some other third world contries, I bet they would be thankful that they are actually Malaysian...

The government's new target is to have a higher income citizen, in years to come by setting a minimum wage limit. Maybe this would take some time, but it's a good start huh? Ok, at the moment the salary rate is around $7000/year, average for a Malaysian, and in 10 years to come, the target is to increase the rate to $15000.

But this wouldn't be possible, if at this current point, 80% of us are working only with SPM certificate. This mean that we cannot 'lengang kaki' and wait for a bunch of durians to fall onto our heads, then scream like we deserve a higher income, and a better life... So when you get the opportunity to study, grab them even with PTPTN, which we all complained and accused it as PTPTipu. For additional record, I don't think we can easily find a third world country like we have here, that most of the students in higher institute or university could get a loan from the government to further their study.

Ah, so what... after all we are all Malaysians. Why bother?

Next time, we go and get a government that will support our life, our family 100% and we can lepak at home happily ever after...

Life before ...

Lately asyik teringat mati. Tak tahu kenapa...

Tapi orang selalu cakap, "Hish, jangan fikir bukan-bukan". Tapi hakikatnya, bila kita ingat mati, kita insaf, fikir apa kita buat kat dunia ni cukup tak untuk akhirat nanti...
Ingat 5 perkara, sebelum datang 5 perkara.
1) Sihat sebelum sakit
2) Muda sebelum tua
3) Kaya sebelum miskin
4) Lapang sebelum sempit
5) Hidup sebelum mati

So lagi satu, nak share one article I received kat office yesterday. I don't know how accurate the article is... but... baca je lah.

Pakciks, together once again.

Once again, we are back!
Nazul & Nizam are getting married, so we decided to gather once again as 10 piece of bachelors for the last time. Kechik couldn't make it this time.

On April 17th 2010,
We went to Sedim, Kedah for our 'activity wajib' which is bermandi-manda sambil bersuka-ria. After 6 years, what I realized is that... we never changed.

"Masih sengal seperti dulu semuanya..."

We stay there till somewhere around 3pm before we went to a lake, lake ke tah? Entah la... Just to take photos. Then, lepak at Peje's home, beli makan-makan sikit kat pasar malam before having our dinner at 'Route 69' sambil menonton bola sepak MU vs MCity, dan juga mendengar orang berceritakan tentang MLM di meja belakang. Huh~
Activity malam... After having a long break (2 years) without any big gathering like this, just for the fans, we did a private concert! Karaoke di Sunway! Sangatlah happening (^^)... And as predicted, Nine lah yang menang tanpa bertanding, he's our Ibnor Reza after all... Then, tengok bola lagi, Chelsea dititik. Hehe...

I went back to KL the next day, with Nazul, Haidi & Amir. It was so damn exhausting... but definitely a time to be remembered...

"Remember the time when you're little, you feel so scared being somewhere outside, around so many strangers, but the moment your father take your hand and guide you... you feel safe. It feels the same when I'm around these pakciks. Whenever something comes my way, I'll always look at them and think everything is going to be alright..."

It's good to be 'me' once again...

Good guy can survive.

I am a big fan of survivor.
However, when the Malaysian TV stop airing the show, I was somehow lost and depend on Youtube to watch it.

Survivor is a sosial adventurous game where alliances and trust matter. Backstabbing, lying is the major part of the game, and to be blindsided by your own alliances is not a rare thing.

So I was watching season 18 survivor in Tocantins, which actually aired last year. The winner was this guy, James Thomas, a farmer of my age, from country. What is so interesting about this season actually... the good guy wins! Not only he wins the title of soul survivor, he wins the favourite survivor as well voted by the audience, plus he gets all the votes from the jury, and throughout the whole episodes, he never got any single vote from the others. Cool eh?

So now, I do believe that good guys still can live and survive in this world, and you don't need to do any harsh or bad things to get your goals. He's definitely my fovourite survivor, along with Parvatti (Fans vs Favourite winner) and Boston Rob (All Stars runner up)... -> the bad ones ;-)
