Kenapa saya suka pakciks...

Kerana baik buruk, cacat cela atau sempurna, saya tetap 'saya' di mata mereka...

Graduation Day

15th of August is the day I'd been looking forward to since the day I left campus.

Besides receiving the scroll after 4 years of study, meeting with friends, buddies and pakciks are a very worthwile moments even it lasted only for couple of minutes, since everything pon agak kelam-kabut since the beginning.

Seronok sangat...

Thanks for the presents, flowers jugak kepada yang memberi, mama, baba, kak anna, shafiqah, sara, kilau etc. Thanks =)

Now, an official farewell to USM, a farewell to all the good memories. Pasti rindu...

My Precious

Last time, my ex-roommate selalu cakap

"Lagu ni ingatkan aku kat hang, lagu ni pulak selalu ingatkan aku kat si polan-polan"

See, I have this one box that I kept all my things, maybe semua pun not that valuable, but they remind of the important people and moments. Macam raya or birthday I received since past 8 years, bila baca balik macam seronok balik, that I actually had these friends who actually care to write me a card. Then ada surat-surat cintan, kad-kad top-up untuk mengingatkan saya yang banyak telah dibelanja kepada telefon, slip-slip peperiksaan.

Like my ex-roommate, saya ada jugak lagu-lagu yang mengingatkan saya kepada kawan-kawan saya. Macam lately, lagu Yovie & Nuno, yang Nazul on 24 jam masa hari terakhir kat USM, Mimpi Tak Sudah untuk Nine, lagu-lagu jiwang Sofaz yang Ewan suka, lagu Barney and friends mewakili Reef, Bunga Citra Lestari kat Anis, Peterpan yang Amir suka etc.

Sama jugak dengan hadiah-hadiah yang saya terima jugak, I kept them in the box of precious as well. Takde laa nak dipamerkan dalam almari ke apa-apa, cuma saya tak nak mereka berhabuk, or terletak merata-rata sampai hilang.


Jadi, the main point is that, sometimes kalau kamu terjumpa kotak kismis yang kosong, or tin air yang saya simpan dalam bilik saya, janganlah salah paham dan buang, kerana behind these 'trash' that some of you would say, adalah harta yang ternilai harganya buat saya.

Me on the road

I've been spending hours on the road everyday for the last two months and a number of interesting episodes I would like to share here.

People here in Kuala Lumpur are fast, driving 100km/h on the federal roads would cost me some horns. Oh, maybe the sign 110km/h on the highway is not actually the maximum speed, it's minimum isn't it? That is the reason why I got lost every single time, belum sempat mengeja perkataan nama tempat and the arrow, dah kena hon. Cis~

Last time I went to KLIA with Nine, believe it, pergi sana just nak pergi bank. Haha~ Tahu tak, bukan atas jalan raya je, dalam parking pon kitorang sesat. We spend 40 minutes at the parking area, from floor to floor before realizing we are at different parking building. Sengal, nine on nine. Haha...

Then last weekend, I went back home to Perak and on my way back, at Kayan (a kampung before reaching Teluk Intan), I was stucked in a heavy traffic jam for an hour. Percaya tak dalam kampung pon boleh traffic jam? Oh, correction. Bukan traffic, but police jam. I really don't understand why the police has to cause such incidents. Buang masa tau...

Just now complain about how fast everyone is, but now it's about how slow some people could be... Haha. Nothing ever reach my satistfaction huh~ Hehe. But imagine lorries are conquering the road on every lane there for 20km? Kiri kanan depan belakang lori. "Heavy vehicles, keep left!" Manalah tak stress bila datang ngan balik kerje~ :-p

Yesterday pulak, ada kayu besar terpelanting kat tengah-tengah highway sampai terkena kereta saya. Oh sedih... Dah kemik kereta kesayangan yang banyak berjasa, lampu pun dah pecah. :-( Kesian kereta... Mana datang kayu-kayu ni, ada ke orang bertukang tengah-tengah highway. Oh, maybe datang dari lori...

So these are some stories about my life on the road.

p.s. Next week I will be moving to Klang, far nearer to my workplace as I have turned into a workaholic guy. Dulu tak suka panas-panas tengah hari, but lately saya sangatlah merindui matahari terik di waktu-waktu begitu. Asyik-asyik balik kerja je nampak bulan... Mana matahari... mana...?

Niat

Sometimes I wonder, what are the intentions of some people on their doings?

The politics here in Malaysia, from day to day is turning into a big circus with old clowns telling lies to steal the crowds to themselves. People are forgetting the intentions, "nawaitu", in becoming a leader, an "imam" to the people. Leaders today are those who has the greatest ability to get their opponent's skeleton out of their skeleton.

Dalam erti kata lain, hebatlah seseorang itu jika dia berjaya menunjukkan bahawa lawannya lebih buruk daripadanya.

Dunia...

The same goes with advertisements. Take for example, the phone network like maxis, celcom, digi or umobile. Some do forget their "niat", their "nawaitu" towards their customers. Each are competing which network can bamboozle their customers more.

Kenapa setiap di sebalik niat baik, pasti ada niat buruk?

Last time, selalu ingat, "Niat itu penting..." but now, I guess we should add some lines beneath.

Niat itu penting, tapi niat tak pernah menghalalkan cara...

Hari ni saya demam. Tapi tak ada siapa yang kisah, tak ada siapa yang tanya... Masing-masing sibuk bercerita kisah-kisah menarik hari ni...

Jadi cuma saya nak beritau kat blog...

How you can save petrol?

Semalam naikkan minyak, hari ni bagi rebat, esok turunkan cukai, then nak bagi gaji 2 kali sebulan? Macam-macamlah, daripada bagi semua bende-bende tu, kenapa tak naikkan sikit je harga minyak? Sama jugak kan? Naik minyak, pastu bagi macam-macam. Sekarang, akibatnya semua harga barang dah naik. Terima kasih Paklah~

Rasa macam semakin hari semakin mengarut je yang jadi kat negara nih.

Neway, berapa-berapa harga minyak sekali pun, we still need to use jugak kan? So, how actually you can save petrol? Here are some tips that I found from newspapers, and on the net as well.

1. Drive smoothly. Aggresive driving can use as much as a third more fuel than safe driving. Avoid accelerating or braking too hard and try to keep you steering as smooth as possible. This actually works, dah pernah try... [Selamat tinggal Jaffrey Schumacher... sob]

2. Use higher gear, the higher gear you drive in, the lower engine speed is, which can improve fuel efficiency. So, change up a gear whenever you can without labouring the engine. Ada paham? [Maybe next time, keluar rumah, terus masuk gear 5, arasso?]

3. Tune and service your engine. A well tuned engine can improve fuel economy by up to 4%, so change your oil and follow your car manufacturer's recommendation on servicing.

4. Keep your tyres at the right pressure. Tyres under-inflated by just 1psi can reduce fuel efficiency by as much as 3%. An under or over-inflated tyre is also more susceptible on failing.

5. Avoid carrying excess weight. For every extra 45kg you carry, your fuel efficiency drop by 1 to 2%. So keep your boot or back seat clear of unnecessary items that just add weight to your vehicle. [Kalau ada member yang dok bising-bising at the back seat, bukak tingkap baling dia keluar... haha~]

6. Keep the windows closed. Wind blowing through an open window will slow you down. To compensate, you may put yout fut down harder, using more fuel. [Letak gam kat tingkap lepas ni]...

7. Use the correct oil. Always use the recommended grade of motor oil. Using the manufacturer's recommended lubricant can improve fuel efficiency by 1 to 2%. Higher quality motor oils can also hel your engine operate more efficiently. [Janganlah gune diesel untuk membawa kancil atau waja, harap maklum]

8. Cruise control on major roads helps you maintain a constant speed, and many cases, will improve fuel consumption.

9. Avoid excess idling, idling gets you nowhere but still burns fuel. Turn the engine off when you are in a queue or waiting for someone until you need it.

So, maybe with these tips will help us in saving petrol. :-)
